The beta is moving fast.
Here's everything new.

CueCaller's start templates were rebuilt around a single MASTER tab. Fill in your show info and set list once and it carries to every department automatically.

• Grab the template in one tap. A new Get the Google Sheet Template button in Show → Template opens the right template for your tier and drops a copy straight into your Google Drive.
• One place for show info. On the multi-department template, the MASTER tab holds your show info and set list, and every department tab fills from it. Copy the department tab once per department and just write cues.
• The free tier gets a clean single page. The Operator template is one simple sheet with everything on it, no tabs to manage.
• The downloadable .xlsx templates match the Google versions exactly, formulas and all.

The cue sheet now splits what gets spoken from what's just for your eyes.

• CUE is spoken, NOTES is shown. Put the call in the CUE column. Put anything you want to see on the card but not hear in the NOTES column.
• Your old sheets still work. Existing shows load exactly as before, no changes needed.

Not every cue needs a callout. Now you can drop a card on screen at the right frame with no standby and no GO.

• Leave the CUE blank and the card still appears at its timecode, silent.
• Wrap a cue in parentheses, like (house to half), and it shows the text on the card but stays completely silent.
• Your *asterisk* notes still work the same, read once at the frame with no standby or GO.

When a song has no timecode, or the clock stops, step through your cues by hand.

• Arrow keys advance and go back. Down or right advances, up or left steps back. Advancing reads that cue once, no standby or GO.
• Prefer it silent? A new Settings → Voice toggle turns off the read entirely, so the arrows just move you through the list.
• It snaps back. The moment real timecode moves again, CueCaller jumps to the live cue.

On the built-in test clock, get to any moment instantly.

• Click a cue in the cue list and the clock jumps to just before its standby, so you hear the standby and the GO land.
• Click a song in your set list and the clock jumps to the top of that song.

Fix a cue without leaving the show.

• Double-click any cue in the list to open it in the editor. Change the time, label, call, level, or color and it writes straight back to the right row in your linked Google Sheet.

The pre-show meeting buttons are now department-agnostic.

• They read Run Department Meeting and Run Shortened Meeting, so they fit spots, lighting, audio, video, or any department running the show.

CueCaller used to only read your Google Sheet. Now it writes back. Add, edit, delete, and color cues right inside the app, and every change lands in the exact right spot in your linked sheet.

• A cue editor, built in. Open Show → Edit Cues to add a cue at the current timecode with one tap or the A hotkey, type a manual time, or edit and delete any cue.
• It writes to the right place. A new cue is inserted in timecode order inside the song it belongs to, never dumped at the bottom. Edits update in place, deletes remove the row.
• Color a cue, fill the cell. Pick a color in the editor and CueCaller writes that background straight into the sheet.
• Link it once, securely. Connect your Google account and pick your sheet with Google's own file picker. CueCaller only ever touches the one sheet you choose.
• Start fresh anytime. Show → Sessions → New blank show clears the slate to build a show from scratch in the app.

The screen you run shows from got a full design pass. Same engine, same cue stage, same muscle memory. Everything is just easier to reach, and nothing overlaps on small screens anymore.

• One Show hub. Load Sheet, Google Sheet linking, Sessions, the template, Save for Offline, and your show logo now live inside a single Show button. Press O to open it from anywhere.
• Settings, reorganized. No more one long list. Settings is now a tabbed dialog with seven categories plus a live search box that filters as you type. Every setting kept its exact behavior.
• One account menu. Your email, tier, Manual, Team, Billing, and Sign out live in a single account chip at the top right.
• A proper timecode source switch. MTC, LTC, and Test are one segmented control sitting next to the clock they drive. Armed reads green, exactly like the clock.
• Show mode. When timecode locks, the prep bar quietly dims so the live controls own the screen. Touch it and it comes right back. Turn it off any time in Settings → Behavior.
• Phones get a thumb dock. Show, Source, Mute, Meeting, and Settings sit in a dock at the bottom of a phone screen, right under your thumb. Tablets get compact icon buttons.
• Keyboard shortcuts are unchanged, with one addition: O opens the Show hub.

Color your show the way you already think about it. Give a cell a background color in your cue sheet and CueCaller carries that color straight onto the HUD.

• Color any cue. Fill a cell's background in your sheet and that cue shows the color as a rail and a dot in the cue list, plus a soft wash on the NOW and NEXT cards.
• Color a whole song or section. Put a color on a song in your Set List and it flows to the Set List entry, the song separator, and a soft band across that song's cues. Any cue you colored individually still wins.
• Works from Excel and Google Sheets alike. Standard palette swatches and custom hex both work, and dark colors are automatically brightened so they stay readable in a dark booth.
• Nothing changes if you don't use it. No colors in the sheet means the HUD looks exactly as it did before.

Make every session feel like the show it's for. Open the Show hub, upload the artist or production logo under Show logo, and it sits right next to the CueCaller mark at the top of your HUD.

• Saves with the session, so recalling a show brings its logo back automatically, and it sticks across reloads.
• Kept lightweight automatically. CueCaller shrinks and compresses it so your saved shows stay small (transparent PNGs welcome).

Call your show in the operator's language. Pick a Call language in Settings → Voice calls and CueCaller speaks your cues in that language — translated automatically, no bilingual cue sheet required.

• 14 languages — Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Turkish, and Vietnamese (plus English). The voice list filters to your chosen language so you can pick a matching speaker.
• Translates in the background — automatically on a session's first load, or the moment you switch to a different language. Nothing to click.
• Fast, and only once. A full show translates in about 5–30 seconds depending on cue count — a 160-cue show finished in 24 seconds in testing — then every call is spoken instantly from cache at showtime, so the live show never waits on the network (and it works offline after that first pass).
• Translations travel with the show. Once translated, the languages ride inside the saved session — reload it later on the same machine, or open the showfile on another, and your calls are already there, ready to fire. No re-translating.
• Edit a cue, re-translate once. Change your cues or notes and CueCaller re-translates a single time before the show — then you're set again.
• Your call words, your choice. Keep the universal English "Standby" and "GO," or switch on "Translate Standby / GO commands too" to localize the whole call.
• Spoken voice translation is available on Production and Tour tiers.

One show file, one lane per department. Switch the Department dropdown and your cue list — and the spoken caller — instantly re-arm to that lane, so every seat hears only its own calls.

• Run Spots, Lighting, Audio, Video, Lasers, Pyro & SFX, Automation, Scenic, Management, and Notes from the same sheet.
• Load departments from a multi-tab Excel file, a single sheet with a Department column, or a named-tab Google Sheet.
• Ready-made multi-department template included.

• Operator tier runs a single lane; multi-lane unlocks on Production and Tour.

Run your whole crew on one plan. The team owner invites and removes members, and everyone shares a team show library.

• Default 3 seats, expandable.
• Shared team library — the owner publishes shows; members load them.
• Built so FOH and a backup operator can both stay connected at once.

Your saved shows now live with your account and follow you from machine to machine — no more emailing files to yourself.

• New — your linked Google Sheet travels with the save. Load a saved session and it re-links to its Google Sheet automatically — tap ↻ Sheet to re-pull the latest cues, no re-pasting the URL. You get the live link back, not just a frozen snapshot of the last save.
• Save to the cloud and reopen on any device you sign in on.
• Tour teams get a shared cloud library.
• Local-first and show-safe: if the network drops, CueCaller falls back to local storage so a loaded show is never at risk.

Two additions make the caller easier to trust at a glance.

• Active-Standby pill — an amber, pulsing indicator at the top of the stage that arms on the next cue and counts down to the GO.
• On-Com indicator — a live tally that lights whenever the caller is speaking and names exactly what it's calling, e.g. "Standby · Spots 2 and 3," "Calling · Spot 4."

CueCaller is now an installable app with real offline support.

• Install to your desktop, dock, or home screen (Chrome, Edge, and macOS Safari).
• Runs fully offline as a secure context — so LTC, MTC, and Excel show-loading all work with no internet.
• "Save for Offline" keeps your loaded show ready to go.
• Offline licensing is signed and tamper-proof, with a grace window so a legitimate offline run on the road never locks you out mid-show.

A run of display controls so each operator can set the screen up the way they like — and lock it down before doors.

• Drag-to-resize the whole interface — clock, current song, department lane, buttons, and the Set List / Cue List columns all scale to taste.
• Unlock Layout keeps everything fixed during a show; Reset Layout restores defaults.
• Hide LD notes to show only the main call on the cue card.
• Show / hide the Previous · Current · Next cue windows — the ones you keep expand to fill the stage (one always stays visible).
• Undock any module into its own window and drag it to a second monitor; redock with one click.
• Every preference is saved and travels with the show file.

Look through a whole show from the device in your hand.

• The timecode clock no longer clips off-screen; controls wrap cleanly.
• On phones, browse the full show — cue card on top, Set List and Cue List below.
• On tablets in portrait, the cue card sits up top with both lists side-by-side.

Reliability work where it matters most — the clock and the cue.

• Phantom-frame fix — a signal floor plus a continuity guard so electrical noise can't trigger a false cue when no timecode is rolling.
• Show resilience — the app rides through brief network blips without interrupting your show; only a real sign-out ever ejects you.
